Basic Installation Information

  • Use of 2 3/8” x 8ft galvanized steel pipe pounded 4ft into ground
  • Posts spacing is either 6ft or 8ft depending on customer request
  • Levelling collars are used to achieve plumb (vertically level) posts and to maintain an approximate 2” gap below the bottom rail and the finished grade (ground level)
  • For added strength, a metal bottom rail insert is used to prevent sagging
